Many people have asked... "So, Jenn, what made you want to do THIS?!" A couple of things actually. First of all, I have two children Reagan, age 7, and Knox, age 2. And let's face it, kids don't come cheap! Like most money conscious moms I know, I spent many years shopping other consignment sales, tredging yard sales on the weekends and searching the never ending listings on eBay.
For years I have THOUGHT about starting a sale, but just never did. Then I realized, if I could organize a sale in my area, then not only would I be able to clothe my children at a reasonable price, but I could offer the same opportunity to other moms in Tipton and surrounding counties.
That brings me to reason two: My desire to serve my community. Wee-One's provides me the opportuntiy to give back to the community either through direct donations to families in need or through various service organizations. It also affords me the opportuntiy to strengthen our community by supporting several charities and other family freindly businesses by encouraging the community to "shop at home". After all, isn't our community just an extention of our personal family?
I must admit, I do not do it alone. Without the support of my husband, my family and friends, Wee-One's Re-Runs: A Family Consignment Event would still be sitting on the shelf some where collecting dust. So, "Thank you" to everyone who has made it become a reality.
